Our horticultural staff is responsible for planting and caring for the flowers, trees, and shrubs through the City of Kirkwood's park system. It will require .the safe operation of a variety of hand and power tools, small equipment, and pickup truck used in grounds maintenance. This position lasts from mid-May through mid-October.

Our Recreation Aids supervise activities conducted within the Kirkwood Park System, including assisting other facility operations within the Kirkwood Parks and Recreation Department in absence of Recreation Manager. Our team members provide excellent customer service and keep our community center and other facilities clean and hazard free and ensure effective, safe, and efficient daily operation of the Kirkwood Park system.
TENNIS ATTENDENT

Our tennis court attendants supervise and maintain 13 tennis/pickleball courts by roll-drying, sweeping debris, picking up trash, and emptying the trash cans; work with the Athletics Program Manager and tennis players to ensure a positive and safe playing atmosphere; verify permits and collect dues. Our team members keep the surrounding parking lot and grass areas clean and looking nice.
